Company History & Strategic Vision

Founding & Global Expertise (2024). Olympus Greenport SA was established in 2024 by leaders in international horticulture. Built on deep global expertise, the company set out to transform sustainable energy and agricultural production in Greece through scalable, innovative technology.

Strategic Acquisition & Regulatory Milestones (2023). Following high-level engagements with Greek and European Union policy makers, Greenport has secured rights to acquire and develop a 650-hectare agriculture complex near Kilkis. The site was selected for its optimal climate, abundant water resources, and direct access to key transportation networks.

Economic Impact & Phase 1 Development. Designated as a project of National Importance, the initial €1.37 billion investment drives major regional growth:

Our Leadership

Thomas Ferfyris, Founder and President

Thomas has over 40 years of experience in the energy and horticulture industries, specializing in the study and implementation of projects as Project Manager. He holds a Master's Degree as Dipl. Ing from the Royal Institute of Technology/Polytechnic in Stockholm, Sweden. He is a highly skilled individual with a proven track record of successful project management and implementation through methodical, thorough, and diligent work. He excels at creating realistic and achievable project plans, evaluating risks, developing strategies to overcome project obstacles, and demonstrating a commitment to safety throughout a project's lifespan. In addition to his technical expertise, Thomas is adept at promoting a company's image and marketability.

Brian McKay - Chairman

Brian McKay is Chairman of Green Alliance Engineering Ltd, the UK holding company for Olympus Greenport SA., bringing strategic leadership, financial experience and project development expertise to the organisation. Brian has extensive experience in structuring, arranging and investing in projects and technologies across the renewable and conventional energy sectors and in carbon transition opportunities. Brian spent more than 25 years in Investment Banking, with Morgan Stanley, CIBC World Markets, and Houlihan Lokey. He holds an MBA from McGill University in Montreal

Senior Management Team

Olympus Greenport SA's senior management team brings together extensive expertise across greenhouse and energy systems development, engineering and construction, food production and sales, commodity trading, supply-chain logistics, and financial management.
